There is a lot of information on this page. For those who "really" want to make a living online and are willing to work at it, I recommend reading everything here. I really do get sales, and there is no reason at all that you can't get sales, too. It's "all" in the advertising. Nothing else :-)

People are always asking me how and "where" I advertise. I'm listing some places below, but please keep in mind that your response is up to you. I know of no "secret" formula. Advertising takes time and a desire to work at home. BE CONSISTENT! :-) And also don't be so quick to give up on something. People oftentimes have to see something a LOT of times before acting on it.

Also, advertising effectively is work. It's fun work, though. I would rather spend a few hours daily sending out ads than working for someone else away from home all day. Be willing to work hard and you'll go far :-)

This is a LONG page, and it will become longer in time. Please bookmark it and come back from time to time. I am really making a living online (which you can do, too) so all you have to do is copy what I do.

I'm going to list some free places "and" paid places where you can start. If you can't handle any paid ones, just focus on the free ones for now. I know it's not easy affording a lot of paid things.

Free safelists can be good but only if you send to a lot of them. If you can't afford a safelist submitter membership (like Pearls of Wealth, make sure to take time everyday to send ads manually to as many of them as you can. I still get sales from safelists, so you can, too. Make sure you look for ads that come through that say "free pro". Many times that will be for a pro membership that allows you to send daily. I send to 1000s of safelists daily. Before joining safelists, though, you really need to have some good email accounts. I highly recommend Yuhknow because it's run by safelist owners and they WILL NOT "EVER" block any ads at all. I find this very important. Sure, right now gmail is not blocking ads, but if they end up going the route of Yahoo, they will surely be blocking ads in the future. Even the largest of servers can't handle too many ads. So use free email accounts if you don't mind the risk. I've done that and have ended up spending hours changing my email addresses in 1000s of safelists (not an easy or fun task). If you want less risk, go with Yuhknow and save yourself the trouble down the road.

I join as many contact ad submitters as I possibly can. At least try to afford upgrading in one. It's well worth it.

Making Loot Mailer -- Very affordable. 100% profit contact ad submitter. You can send ads over and over for a small one-time fee. They even let you put some banners into their banner rotation. Those run forever on their website. I get a very good response from the ads here.

Downline Builder Direct -- Get an instant contact list of 20,000 members if you upgrade. Highly recommended. Grab the one-time-offer if you can afford it. They let you send ads to everyone every other day. You'll get more than your money's worth.

Viral Ad Store -- Send ads to everyone. Great one-time-offer for upgrade.

My List Frog -- Growing fast. Responsive. Send ads to the contact email address of every member. Great one-time-offer, too.

Free Advertising for Life -- This is a very nice contact ad submitter. It's responsive and works great.

State of the Art Mailer -- This one is going to be launching soon. They are allowing you to grab your spot and prebuild your downline. Once they launch you will be able to use the mailer and also make money when those under you upgrade.

Safelist Submitters (send to many safelists at once) -- I am listing my 2 of my favorite ones below.

Pearls of Wealth -- Excellent Safelist Submitter. It sends no matter what -- even if your account is on vacation. I've been a member for years, and it is still one of my top advertising sources.

iPostAd Submitter -- Gets your ad out to many safelists at once. Includes auto validation, ffa site submitters, etc.

Good Advertising Places (solo and text ads)

Xchange Xclusives -- small 1-time fee -- ** a MUST HAVE for anyone who really wants to advertise seriously. FREE contact solo ads at 100s of ad exchanges. Excellent response rate. It's really worth joining "all" or "most" of these, putting them in your bookmarks in their own folder, and sending to them all as often as you possibly can. When I put them into my bookmarks (or favorites) I put -1- before the title of the biggest ones, -2-, smaller, and -3- tiny ones. I also say "no ads" or "yes ads" in the name of the bookmark so that I don't waste time signing into ones where I no longer have any solo ads. I wait for sales and buy more solo ads when I can afford them. I can't stress enough how important it is to send to some of these often. Sure, it's work. But it is work that pays off.

Free Ads Always -- Free Contact Solo Ads, free banner ads, free text ads. Use code "paulawebsite" for 2 free contact solo ads added to your account. Click on "advertising" to enter the code and also to submit your free advertising.

Mammoth List Extreme -- Build your list easily. If you get the upgrade you get to email everyone weekly. Excellent. This will grow to 1000s of members. Plus it's a money-maker.

Pearls of Wealth -- #1 Recommended Safelist Submitter. It sends no matter what -- even if your account is on vacation. I've been a member for years, and it is still one of my top advertising sources.

Big Pig Traffic -- A great resource for advertising. Plus you get a free resellers' website so you can promote it. It's run by Karyn Mackenzie, a very good admin. She's great with support.

Ad Boards (100% free ads)

Do not underestimate this type of advertising. Your ads will remain for awhile and will get some clicks. As you know, just one click has the potential of turning into a customer. I have pro memberships at all three of the ad boards listed below. Why? Because 1) I can offer people free advertising and 2) I can show my ads to every single person who posts there.

Online Business Social Networking (excellent for getting sales)

Adland Pro -- 100% free. Sure, you can upgrade if you want to once you get used to it. But you don't have to upgrade to advertise there. Free members are very welcome! This is a very busy place, too. And all forum posts get picked up by the search engines! Make sure to create a profile. Put information about what you do online. Send people to your websites. I find customers and new members here. I know you can, too. Click on "networking" after you sign in. Then find some forums where your ads are welcome. Post ads in those. You can also buy advertising there, which I find to be a big plus. Am I a pro member? Yes, I did go to the top level in the networking site. I know networking brings me lots of business. Click here -- join free. They also sell all kinds of additional advertising plus you can post free classified ads. If you ever decide to go to the top level in the networking area you can also buy targeted email ads to everyone there. You can send by country. I find a lot of customers here.

Safelist Advertising & Hosting Your Own Safelists

Hosting Your Own Safelists (Excellent Response to Your Ads -- Low Cost) -- I know adopting a safelist to run yourself may seem a bit scary to some, but I have to tell you, many of my sales come from sending admin ads to the contact email addresses. I adopted about 15-20 safelists (at various safelist hosts) and send to them regularly. Why? Because contact solo ads work. I figure by paying small monthly fees for the safelists I'm saving a bundle because you can buy one ad from some places for as much as $15. By hosting your own safelist you can send all you want for a small monthly fee ($3 or $4). Much better -- especially when you consider you can send as many ads as you want to -- all month long! Now, you don't want to adopt a list with no members on it. You want a ready-made contact list. So check these places out. Find a list with a lot of members and adopt it. Try it for a month and see if you see any response to your ads. Send 4 ads (at least) everyday through the admin area -- send to the contact email addresses. The 2 least-expensive places I've found for adopting safelists are one and two. The safelists run themselves. All you have to worry about doing is send your ads :-) This is the next best thing to having your own contact list.

List Building

Did you realize that "all" of the top internet marketers you hear about online have built a contact list? Ask any of them and I would be REALLY surprised if any of them said that they didn't have a list. Having your own contact list is "by far" the most responsive form of advertising. Does it take time to build a list? Yes! But the time is well spent. I try to add something to capture people onto my list in almost all of the ads I send out. I highly recommend getting started on this today. Even just 10 people on your list are "10 more people than you had to advertise to yesterday" :-) And remember, it only takes "one" person to equal a sale. Just one if you find the "right" one.

You don't need a website to build your contact list. You can get a pro account here at Get Response for just $17.97 a month and start building (they let you even try it for free). You get unlimited autoresponders. Plus you can have people just send an email to get on your list. For example, want to email 400,000 members free daily? send an email to freeadsubmitter@getresponse.com from your primary email. Then click on the validation link to get your free (100% resale rights) advertising source. You can get people signed up on your list by simply offering them information or products or free places to advertise. Anything can help you build your list. Then once you have your own website you can setup lead capture pages and even get them all submitted to the search engines. The bigger your list gets the more sales and signups you will get. With Get Response you can send to your list anytime you want to from your account. I find that very nice!

Advertising to Safelists

Doing a search online for "free pro safelists" or "free safelists" should bring you some places to start. I'm also listing some that work well for me.

Marketer Pro -- 100% profit included -- Many pro safelist memberships and other advertising in the member area.

Free Pro Safelist Memberships -- No cost at all for these. Send daily.

Free Safelists at the Pearls Index -- You can join and send to these by hand (for free) or join the submitter and send to all of them at once (much easier but costs "of course"). I've been a pro member here for years. When you send through the submitter your ads reach "all" of the Pearls lists whether you're on vacation from bouncing or not. I see that as a great thing! Ads get through no matter what.

Pro Solos -- Pro Safelist Memberships in some really nice-sized safelists. Well worth the $7.50 (one-time) price. Plus Compuhits Submitter comes with it. Even get a search engine submitter that comes with resale rights.

My Free Safelist -- Free members can advertise or go pro for only $10 and make 100% profit each time you bring in another pro member. Pro members can also send all they want.

Traffic Exchanges

Traffic Exchanges are places where you view a website and in return, they send a visitor to "your" website. This can be an effective form of advertising. I try to keep websites rotating in fast exchanges. Fast ones because those are the easiest to build credits in (credits = visitors to your sites). If you join the ones below you will be able to get high-quality traffic fast. Try these for awhile and really spend at least an hour daily surfing them. Your sites will start getting traffic, which is extremely important.

You can also buy credits at these traffic exchanges if you want to get your websites rotating fast.

These traffic exchanges let you get website visitors for free, but the upgrades are always a good deal.

Traffic Splash -- A huge traffic exchange and grows daily. You will want to keep sites rotating here. They have a lot of serious online marketers who view websites.

I Love Hits -- Super fast and fun to surf. I really enjoy this one. It's growing quickly, so there are always new members on it. Upgraded members get 1000 website visitors monthly added to their account. Upgraded members also get a chance to buy additional credits at a much lower price than free members.

Webbizinsider -- I've been a member of this for years. It's such a good way to get quality website visitors. Pro members get "two" visitors to their website for every website they visit. Plus you can send ads to your downline. Pro members also get to buy additional credits at a reduced rate.

Search Engine Submission

Make sure you get listed in the major search engines. I'm listing one search engine submitter below, and only one. It's not free, and it's not cheap ... BUT ... It works! I'm getting a lot of my sites indexed quickly. Plus it even sends to many classified and FFA sites for me with one simple click.

Traffic Seeker Search Engine Submitter to 800,000 -- Again, it's not cheap, but it really works well. Plus it's so easy to use that even "I" can do it! :-) I bought the top level and am loving it (but again, this is only for when you can afford to invest more in your business). I see being listed in "all" of the search engines a necessity. To do that I wanted the "best" and "easiest-to-use" software available.
